Silicone Feeding Trays – Frozen Food Tray
A baby silicone frozen food tray is a convenient way to store and serve homemade baby food. It is made of safe and durable silicone material that can withstand freezing temperatures. The tray has individual compartments that allow you to portion and freeze different types of food, and liquid like breast milk, formula and puree fruits and vegetables.
Once frozen, you can easily pop out the food cubes and pop them into our silicone feeder to soothe your little ones teething gums. You can also store them in a freezer-safe bag or container. The tray can also be used for making homemade ice cubes for drinks. Silicone frozen food tray, you can provide your little one with healthy and nutritious food options while simplifying your meal prep routine.
Silicone food trays can also be used to explore new foods and textures. Fill each compartment with a different food and texture, like avocado, steamed sweet potato, banana ect. Babies love to explore texture and taste when first starting solids.
Simple recipe idea
Here’s a simple recipe idea:
- Mix together 1 cup of mashed fruit (such as banana or avocado) with breast milk or formula to your desired thickness.
- Pour the mixture into our silicone feeders and freeze for a few hours, poor excess into one of our silicone food trays and freeze.
- Once frozen, remove from the freezer and let it thaw for a few minutes before offering it to your baby.
Recommended foods for our trays and feeders
Knowing exactly what you’re feeding your baby, without the unnecessary preservatives found in some baby supermarket foods. Steamed sweet potato, carrots, pumpkin, apples, pears and zucchini. Fresh banana, strawberries, avocado, raspberries, watermelon. Slow cooked tender lean meats that are pureed are amazing sources of protein. Breast milk and formula are amazing in our feeding trays frozen to soother the sore teething gums.
Age grading
What age are silicone feeders suitable for? Our feeders are suitable for babies starting solids, some babies start solids earlier than other. Ages from 4-6 months to start and can be used till 12 months plus. Please read our care and safety instructions.
Cleaning and care instruction for our feeders and trays
Clean before use! Do not use sharp objects to clean. Check before each use for damage. Discard if any signs of damage. Do not place hard foods that can damage the silicone, such as dried fruits, seeds and nuts. Always use under adult supervision, especially while frozen. Check the cap is secured at all times.
Silicone is freezer, microwave, steriliser and dishwasher safe. While our silicone is stain resistant some foods may stain the silicone.
